Hugh Chang Alloy serves as chief accounting officer (CAO) for Independent Living Systems (ILS). Alloy has over 17 years of accounting experience and a background in managed care, long-term care and public accounting. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including financial analysis, cost analysis, accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting and corporate audits. Since 2008, Chang Alloy also has served as treasurer of the not-for-profit Independent Living Community Services, Inc., and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Prior to joining ILS, Chang Alloy was the chief financial officer (CFO) for America’s Health Choice Medical Plans, Inc., in central Florida. He was also the CFO for the Seminole Indian Tribe of Florida, where he directed over $750 million in revenues annually and led a team of more than 25 finance and accounting staff. Chang Alloy also has worked in the public accounting sector, specializing in accounting information systems, business intelligence and auditing.
Chang Alloy received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Florida International University. He is a licensed certified public accountant in the state of Illinois.
