The New Office Space will Support the Company’s Growing Membership

Independent Living Systems (ILS) has announced the opening a new office in Miami.  A grand opening ceremony, highlighted by a ribbon cutting, will take place soon. An invitation containing the date and other details has been sent to potential guests.

Since our founding in 2001, ILS has grown from a small, local business to today with more than 800 employees nationwide and plans for continued expansion over the next 12 to 18 months.  Our success and continuous growth in staff and locations is tied to the delivery of exceptional, innovative services to our members which improve health outcomes, reduce costs, and fosters independence said Nestor Plana, President and CEO of ILS.

As a company, ILS provides Comprehensive Coordination of Care, Care Management, and Long Term Care Management Services to a number of defined populations including Seniors and Persons with Disabilities (SPD), Medicaid and Medicare recipients in multiple states, and more than 200,000 Medicaid and Dual Eligible persons nationwide.  In total, ILS provides services to more than 3 million members on behalf of health plans and insurers through operations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

ILS’ opened its corporate office in Miami in 2001.  Since that time, the company has established a presence around the country by opening offices in New York, California, Illinois, Virginia, New Mexico, and Puerto Rico.  Later this year, additional offices in various locations will open, including an office in Texas, to support the company’s growing membership in the southwest.
