We are pleased to announce a new contract with the Alliance for Aging for the Community Care for the Elderly Program (“CCE”). The company will act as the Community Service System Lead Case Management Agency in Monroe County and one of three such agencies in Miami-Dade County. The company will serve residents age 60 years of age and older who are in need of care and support.

“We are incredibly proud to have been selected by the Alliance for Aging in conjunction with Florida’s Department of Elder Affairs for this important work,” said Nestor Plana, Founder, Chairman and CEO of ILS. “The Alliance for Aging does very important work for the aging population in our state and we are happy to be able to use our expertise and wide-ranging service offering to assist them.”

ILS will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring the provision of multiple services in both counties to delay and prevent the need for more expensive nursing home care. Some of these services include case management, in-home services such as homemaker and personal care, material aid, specialized medical equipment, services and supplies, and nutritional counseling and home delivered meals.

These services help seniors and save taxpayers money by helping avoid nursing home services. “ILS delivers community-based services and programs designed to help frail, chronically ill, and individuals with special needs reside within their community,” said Plana, “thus avoiding long, unwanted and costly hospital and nursing home stays. When individuals receive the services they need at home, the costs are better, the quality is better, and it’s what the individual prefers.”
